In type DeCoteau fashion, Beastly Boyz is filled with hot guys hanging around in their underwear.  It's not as cheesey as some of DeCoteau's films and does start off with a good creepy vibe but the film's lack of dialogue makes it drag and get boring unless you're drawn in by the never ending semi techno music which at times also seems corny.  The long sequences of caressing the knife blades along his victims before killing also seems a bit corny but it gives us long drugout closeups of the muscle studs.

Story:  Travis has a ghostly connection to his dead twin sister and sets out to bring vengeance upon her killers.

Gay Factor:  No gay characters, but typical DeCoteau:  hot shirtless guys in their underwear.

Like most DeCoteau films, expect a good deal of shirtless time with the boys and aimlessly wandering around in their underwear.  It's low budget, its cheesey, but the guys are hot.


Story:  Christopher Sawyer is the new student at Carmichael Bible College, a boarding school filled with hunky, uncorruptable guys.  The school is run by the unusual Mrs. Bouvier and Reverend Carmichael.  When students go missing, Christopher begins to snoop and discovers Mrs. Bouvier & the Reverend are behind quite an evil plot.  First casting voodoo spells causing the boys to give in to their lustful desires and ultimately killing them as a sacrifice to resurrect Satan.

Gay Factor:  Plenty of homoerotica.  There's the shirtless/underwear clad boys.  The boys hanging out in the bathroom together while another takes a bath.  The Reverend and Mrs. Bouvier strap the boys up bondage style for their kills.  The Reverend casts a spell causing one of the boys to grope himself in the Confessional booth.  Later the Reverend creeps up massaging the boy's shoulders from behind while the boy lays in the bath tub.  And last but certainly not least, a long sequence of the roomfull of boys groping themselves in their sleep, under a spell to give in to their lust.
