Cast: Boy George (Narrator), James Layton, Lee Williams, Margaret Towner, Rita Davies, Kevin Moore
Director: Will Gould
1998
This is a British film, first released in Germany, giving a reverse spin on the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale. It's a bit ludicrous that this is classified as "horror" except that it involves wolves and two old ladies plotting to kill the woman they nurse. Nothing scary here and the costuming is a bit ridiculous and beyond low budget: the wolves have long nails and wear fur coats. With that said, this was a delightful gay interest film if you watch it for a gay perspective instead of horror. Lee Williams was adorable as Seth.
Story: Two young wolves try to settle on the outskirts of a country village but end up framed for murder, embroiling a prejudiced and angry town mob to go on the hunt for the wolves.
Gay Factor: Gay wolves; The entire storyline uses wolves as a metaphor of gays, in general, and the prejudice society puts on them.
