Cast: Joseph Lawrence, Chad Allen, Dorie Barton, Jeff Conaway
Director: Thomas Bradford
2001
As far as horror movies go, this would be the typical, below average slasher flick, but from a horror standpoint, I would put it higher on the list than some of the erotic gay "horror" films i've listed here. The acting is sometimes bad despite a few name actors, although past the primes of their careers. Former teen stars, Joey Lawrence and Chad Allen head this film along with former Grease star, Jeff Conaway, as a police detective.
Story: A group of college kids go away for vacation but the fun ends when they fall prey to a serial killer. Somehow, the new killings are connected to a murder on their campus a year earlier.
Gay Factor: There's no gay characters or gay themes but the film's co-star, Chad Allen, is an out and proud gay man in real life.
Extra note: If you enjoy Chad Allen, check him out in Fright Flick (also listed on this site), a horror film that actually does have gay characters, although the gay Allen plays it straight in the film. Joey Lawrence can be seen in Urban Legends: Final Cut, which also has gay characters, and is actually a better film than this one.
