13 Films For A Gay Halloween

Here's 13 of my top picks for a gay Halloween....
Many of these, I haven't listed here on this blog yet, but its Halloween, so i'm rolling out all my gay favorites.  Enjoy and stay tuned for more in depth pics & descriptions.

Hellbent

The best gay slasher flick around.  Nearly the entire cast is gay!

Story:  It's Halloween in West Hollywood.  Two gay guys trying to have sex in their parked car are interupted by a serial killer.  Later, a group of gay guys visits the site on their way to the Halloween parties and find themselves being stalked by the same killer!

Frat House Massacre

Not the gayest film on our list, but probably the goriest.  There's only one closeted gay character:  he's the one who depants the underwear off a frat pledge; sits in a house meeting filing his nails while calling his frat bro a 'bitch' and jerks off while peeping on his frat bro's as they fuck their girls (they only show that once but a different bro mentions it later in the movie, so apparently he does it often).
Aside from that, there's a ton of male flesh on display including a few quick flashes of full frontal nudity!

Story:  Set in the late 70's, after his brother goes missing, Bobby joins the same fraternity, with a hidden agenda of finding out what really happened to his brother.  What he discovers is a sadistic fraternity that tortures and kills the guys unworthy of their brotherhood.

The Gay Bed & Breakfast Of Terror
A mix of gory horror and gay campiness, this one has a little for everybody:  multiple gay male characters and multiple lesbian characters, nudity from males and females.

Story:  Groups of gay friends and lovers find themselves at a secluded gay bed & breakfast that is anything but the advertised place.  It's run by a gay hating, religious zealot bent on converting one gay male to heterosexuality for her own repressed lesbian daughter; everyone else must die!  But she's not the only killer lurking at this secluded B&B.

Zombies Of Mass Destruction

This one has two gay male lovers and even several of the non-gay characters suffer their own prejudices from society, bringing them together in the common goal of survival.

Story:  Tom and Lance return to Tom's hometown with plans of coming out to Tom's mom, but their plans get sidetracked when the whole island becomes over run with a zombie outbreak.

Bite Marks

Two gay lovers set out on a cross country adventure in an attempt to reconnect their disolving relationship.  Along the way, they get picked up by a trucker hawling a load of coffins, but unfortunately the coffins aren't empty and the group soon finds themselves fighting a small army of vampires.

In The Blood

A college student discovers a family gift, a psychic ability that only comes out during moments of true passion.  With a killer on the loose and visions of his sister soaked in blood, he must embrace and explore his repressed homosexuality in order to ignite the psychic visions of how to save his sister.

Bride Of Chucky

This one's a bit cheesey, like all the Child's Play sequels, but deserves merit as one of the first mainstream horror films to have an openly gay character in a positive role.

Story:  The serial killer, Chucky, is again resurrected into the body of a doll, but this time with a lover at his side, they set out on a murderous rampage along their pursuit of finding new bodies to possess.

A Nightmare On Elm Street 2:  Freddy's Revenge

Perceived as the gay film among the Nightmare franchise.  This one has a teen boy as the main victim of Freddy Krueger.  The gayness - the main character, Jesse, is awkward with girls and rejects the sexual advances from his girlfriend, instead wanting to spend the night with his best male buddy.  There's a scene in a gay leather bar and later an S&M style kill scene with the naked coach, tied in the shower and being pelted by sports balls.  Lots of male flesh on display - the mentioned scene of the naked coach in the shower; during wrestling, a guy gets depantsed exposing his jockstrapped ass, and a lot of shots of a shirtless Jesse!

Story:  The nightmare master, Freddy Krueger is back!  This time haunting a teenage boy, Jesse, whom he hopes to posess.

Interview With The Vampire

The movie downplays the character's bisexuality which is blatantly stated in the original novel.  However, with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt as "life companions" the gayness is obvious.  This one's a classic!

Story:  A vampire retells his life story from his original seduction by Lestat through their life together, another male vampire's desire to have him as his companion and back to the present day reunion of Lestat and Louis de Pointe du Lac.

Urban Legends:  Final Cut

Primarily a standard hetero horror flick but this one has one gay male character and two lesbian characters.  The male character is a bit of the stereotype - the flamboyant, unmasculine male.  Eva Mendes takes the role of one the lesbians.  Not as good as the original Urban Legends but it fashions itself in the same pattern - a serial killer using urban legends to kill his prey.  Following the new standard set by Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, the killer remains a mystery until the very end.

Story:  A film student kills himself and his previously unknown twin brother suddenly arrives, instantly becoming a suspect in the new set of slashings.  With a group of film students making their thesis films, a horror film based on an urban legends killer, their art is about to become their reality!

The Brotherhood

A homoerotic thriller from cult director, David DeCoteau, this is quite possibly his best film ever.  None of the characters call themselves gay, but all the gay intentions are there:  the vampire calling another guy beautiful, stalking him.  The anti-frat, jock, abandonning the advances of a beautiful girl to explore his new friendship with the frat president (vampire).  Also, a very sexy male/female/male 3some scene!  Not scary, but a fun thriller with vampires and lots of hot guys!

Story:  Chris, a studly jock who hates fraternities, soon finds himself seduced into a fraternity.  The frat has a dark ages old secret of vampirism and Chris is their needed tool for survival.

The Brotherhood II:  Young Warlocks

A new story of "brotherhood" once again filled with homoeroticism and gay overtones from director, David DeCoteau.  Quite a sexy scene of the boys swimming together in their underwear and a hot male/female/male 3some in which the boy seems more enticed by the other boy than by the female.  This one isn't scary, but does have a decent plot with murder and magic.

Story:  A group of outcasts become taken in by the new boy who promises power beyond their imaginations if they prove themselves worthy by breaking all the rules.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Don't expect to be scared by this one but its a campy, cult classic, so if you're looking for a gay halloween without alot of blood or the traditional stalker horror, this may be the film for you.

Story:  A young couple stranded on the road find themselves to a castle where they encounter the bisexual crossdresser Frank N Furter who plans to seduce both the young lovers.
